Since falling in love with Fuerteventura and buying our little piece of paradise we have slowly adapted to making Betsy a place with all we need but without the clutter. This is often a difficult task given the life changing experience but we hope that Betsy has all you need to enjoy your holiday, a real home-from-home.

Betsy is level and the pool area and main entrance can be accessed without using steps. The pool is well maintained and uses a salt cleaning system - much nicer to swim in - and varies in depth from about 0.7m to about 1.6m. There is a pool shower and plenty of sun loungers, many with adjustable backrests. There is a small parking area for hire cars, which gives easy access into the complex and lots of parking on the roads - front and back. As well as the communal sun bathing areas around the pool, each bungalow has it own patio.

The patio area is private and has two comfortable (soft) sun loungers, a patio table / chairs, umbrella and the key safe on the wall for your arrival. This leads on to the living room which is light and airy with views to the pool and garden. There is a double bed/settee which can act as a double bed if pre-advised, a DVD player & TV (with selection of films), stereo (with selection of CD's), lamps, a cupboard with a small games selection, a large selection of books to swap and read, a table with two chairs, an armchair and breakfast bar between the lounge and kitchen. Recent additions include a washing machine and ceiling fan, as well as lots of electric points with adaptors. We also leave a key in the safe for your personal use and a small bbq under the sink should you wish to purchase coal etc for an evening in and eat el fresco on the patio.

The bedroom has two twin beds (quite new and very comfy), a large wardrobe - with coat hangers, wardrobe shelving with spare blankets and pillows, a netted window (mossie netting) with both curtains and a blackout blind, bedside lamps, a table and mirrors. The bathroom was recently refurbished in lovely light blue tiles and has a bath with shower, toilet, basin with marble vanity unit for toiletry storage and a netted window for mosquitoes and security. The kitchen is arched from the lounge and can be separated with a pull down blind. There is a full size fridge / freezer, an oven / 4 ring hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, plates, glasses, pans, cutlery, utensils etc and a cafetiere.

There is no need to bring your hairdryer or iron as you will find these provided along with an ironing board and there are also a fire blanket, fire extinguisher and smoke alarm. Our standard rate includes cleaning for your arrival with linen & towels provided, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. We can be flexible about the length of your stay and your chosen arrival/departure day - availability allowing. Please note that we do NOT allow smoking inside the bungalow and as Betsy is a privately owned bungalow, there is no manager for the complex or Reception. However, a local English couple provide our guests with an Emergency service in Corralejo and this information is given to you before your stay.
